Chaz Frankenfield
Chef Chaz brings over two decades of culinary experience to our team. Most recently, he served as the Executive Chef at Arizona Country Club, where he directed culinary concepts for all dining outlets, including Outpost 46', the Men's Grille, The Deck, and the Halfway House. He also managed all special catering, banquet, and lifestyle events, showcasing his versatility and dedication to culinary excellence.
Before his tenure at ACC, Chef Chaz was the Executive Chef at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel for eight years. He oversaw multiple dining concepts in a bustling and dynamic culinary environment. His previous experience includes being the Executive Sous Chef at The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, where he led the world-renowned Marquesa, Arizona's only five-diamond restaurant at the time, and served as Chef de Cuisine at the four-diamond La Hacienda restaurant. Chef Chaz also made his mark by creating new menus and developing an award-winning Sunday brunch.
Chef Chaz's culinary journey began in 1985 at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia, and he later expanded his skills at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey and the Water Grill Restaurant in Los Angeles. A graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York, Chef Chaz is passionate about incorporating healthy, farm-to-table ingredients, including locally harvested produce, and creating seasonal menus with diverse cuisines.
When he's not in the kitchen, Chef Chaz enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and two sons. We are excited to welcome Chef Chaz to our team and look forward to the culinary innovations he will bring to our club.
