Madeleine Raffael

It is with great excitement that I introduce the newest addition to our culinary leadership team, Madeleine Raffael, who joins us as Pastry Chef at the Country Club at DC Ranch. Madeleine brings more than 15 years of experience in the pastry arts, paired with a remarkable dedication to creativity, craftsmanship, and continuous learning.
Madeleine discovered her passion for pastry early in her culinary journey and pursued extensive education, earning two Associate Degrees in Hospitality and Culinary Management along with five professional certifications in baking and pastry, professional cooking, lodging management, event management, and food and beverage management.
Her career has led her to resorts and kitchens across the country, where she has headed pastry departments in Utah, Arizona, Colorado, Maine, Florida, and Massachusetts. In addition, she has served as a culinary instructor in Baltimore, teaching individuals in a culinary training program designed to support those rebuilding their lives, an experience that reflects both her leadership and heart for mentorship.
Madeleine specializes in cakes, chocolate work, sculpted pastry creations, and refined plated desserts. Her distinctive style features bright, seasonal flavors and bold presentation, often inspired by local ingredients and culinary traditions.
An avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast, Madeleine has visited 47 states, explored 43 national parks, driven cross-country numerous times, and hiked over 500 miles of the Appalachian Trail. She is excited to settle in the Southwest and is thrilled to bring her expertise to The Country Club at DC Ranch.
We are confident that Madeleine’s talent, dedication to excellence, and sweet tooth will be a wonderful asset to our Club. Please join me in welcoming her to our community.
