Sarah Gunter

I am delighted to announce that Sarah Gunter has joined our Team as the  new Employment and Culture Manager in Human Resources. With her extensive background in psychology, organizational development, and hospitality, Sarah brings a unique blend of skills and experience that will be invaluable in fostering a positive and dynamic workplace culture.

Sarah considers Plano, Texas her hometown, though she spent her childhood and early teenage years in Orange County, California. She has called Arizona home for nearly a decade. Sarah holds an undergraduate degree in psychology and criminology from Northern Arizona University, where she first discovered her passion for industrial-organizational psychology. This passion led her to pursue a Master's degree in Applied Psychology, with a focus on Organizational Psychology, from the University of Southern California. During her time at USC, she had the unique opportunity to study abroad in Dubai, exploring consumer and employee behavior in international settings—an experience that deepened her understanding of cross-cultural psychology.

Sarah also brings over 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, most recently serving as a Captain at Maple & Ash in Scottsdale and more recently completing an internship in people & culture management, which inspired her to pursue a similar role after graduation from her Masters. Her diverse background and strong commitment to employee engagement and cultural development make her the perfect fit for this role.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking and biking, caring for her growing collection of plants, and exploring new restaurants and traveling with her boyfriend. She’s also a food and wine enthusiast, recently earning her Level 2 wine certification from WSET.
