Sarah Gunter
Sarah Gunter joined the Club in August 2024 as the Employment & Culture Manager in Human Resources. Working closely with leadership, Sarah serves as Sascha’s right hand in supporting employee experience and culture, helping strengthen the Club’s people-first environment.
Over the past two seasons, Sarah has led hiring efforts that brought many wonderful new employees to the Club. She also oversees employee engagement initiatives, including continuing beloved health and wellness challenges while introducing new programs that connect, recognize, and celebrate team members across departments. Sarah is passionate about creating opportunities for employees to feel valued and engaged and feels grateful to contribute to the exceptional culture that defines the Club.
Sarah considers Plano, Texas her hometown, though she spent her childhood and early teenage years in Orange County, California. She has called Arizona home for over a decade. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminology from Northern Arizona University, where she first discovered her passion for industrial-organizational psychology. She later earned a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology with a focus in Organizational Psychology from the University of Southern California. During her time at USC, Sarah studied abroad in Dubai, exploring consumer and employee behavior in international settings and gaining valuable cross-cultural perspective.
In addition to her academic background, Sarah brings more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining the Club, she worked as a Captain at Maple & Ash in Scottsdale and completed an internship in People & Culture management, which inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to employee engagement and workplace culture.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking and rollerblading, caring for her growing collection of plants, and trying new restaurants with her fiancé. A food and wine enthusiast, she has earned her Level 2 wine certification from WSET. The couple is currently planning their wedding for November 2026.
